Phillip Ernst

I am a Physician Assistant graduating from Marietta College in 2017. My patient care experience started when I joined the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in 2006. I spent the next 5 years caring for the Marines and Sailor of the 1st Marine Division out of Camp Pendleton Ca. During my time in the military I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan with my Marine units as part of their healthcare team. After the military I went on to the University of Cincinnati and received my Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. From there I went on to Marietta College receiving a Masters in Physician Assistant studies. I am very pleased to be a part of the healthcare team here at AccuDoc Urgent Care and being able to provide access to healthcare when patients need it the most.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati; from the Westside of town and a graduate of Elder high school. I am married and have two boys that keep me very busy when I am not at work. We enjoy going to Miami Whitewater Park and being outside as much as possible.

As soon as I graduated from Taylor High School, I entered into nursing. Graduating from Good Samaritan Hospital College of Nursing in 1995, I soon found my place in critical care and emergency medicine, while learning Healing Touch and alternative therapies. I obtained my Bachelors of Science in 2005 from Indiana Wesleyan University. During my 24 years as a nurse, I worked in most of the largest hospitals in Cincinnati. I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2019 with my Masters in Nursing and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since then, I have enjoyed working at AccuDoc Urgent Care, where we do more than urgent care. I enjoy spending time with our clients, listening to their concerns and together, come up with the best plan for each. I believe in not just curing illness, but achieving and maintaining wellness. Feel free to stop in a say hi, I would enjoy helping you with your life goals.

On a personal note: I live in Harrison, Ohio with my wife Aimee, and our nine children: Autumn, Logan, Lindsey, Leah, Lily, Luke, Emma, Edith, and Vivian. Our land is a piece of heaven where our kids can run through the woods, swim, and play. We enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking. Among the busyness, I try to find time for silence and prayer. We attend All Saints in St. Leon and I look forward to meeting you.
